Zoom instructions

We use Zoom in our webinar training. After registering for the training, you will receive a participation link to Zoom no later than the day before the training.

We recommend downloading the Zoom application. You can access the actual meeting by clicking on the participation link you received. The link will open a browser window, after which you can open the meeting by clicking Open Zoom . If you have not downloaded the application before, the browser offers to download the application.  

It is also possible to participate in a Zoom meeting with a browser without the Zoom application. Note, however, that browser-based Zoom has more limited functionality and works best with Google Chrome. Use the latest version of your browser. You can also download the Google Chrome Zoom Extension plug -in to your Google Chrome browser , which enables some functionality, such as participating in Breakout groups and Gallery view´ also when participating in the browser. 

You can participate in the browser by clicking on the participation link sent to you and opening the Join from your browser  link at the bottom of the window that opens Then accept the terms of use and enter your full name as the participant in the meeting and click Join. If you are a logged in Zoom user, you do not need to specify a name.  

In the meeting room, you can adjust your microphone and video with the buttons at the bottom left. During performances, microphones and cameras are generally kept off, unless otherwise instructed by the instructor.
